Mmmm....and a giveaway!

It's no secret here that I enjoy cooking...and that I love to bake. I started Recipe Wednesdays a few years ago in an attempt to share some of our family favorites with you...

Some of my favorites (and your favorites) that I've shared with you???

And I've definitely learned over the years that recipes need pictures...Brent will tell you that often, dinner waits until a proper picture has been taken!

I have plans to give the blog a little facelift soon, and I hope to have all recipes a bit more organized and accessible for you!

In this house with two little girls, we have lots of tea parties...I adore baking for tea parties!

So I thought for the first giveaway, I'd give a few gifts from my kitchen to yours...ones that are favorites of mine...and ones to help you with your own afternoon tea!

Included in this giveaway:

Simplify Lemon Curd...it's delicious. It definitely challenges some of the freshest lemon curd I've sampled!
Tazo Earl Grey Tea...my favorite choice all day long. (And perfect for making Earl Grey Lattes!)
Next Organic Dark Chocolate Covered Apricots...a perfect addition to a tea tray...or for snacking anytime!
a Pastry Blender...for making melt-in-your-mouth scones
and a one-year subscription to Better Homes & Gardens, one of my favorite publications for choosing delicious and taste-tested recipes!

(Sorry...the assorted china pictured stays on my shelves!)

If you'd like to be entered in this giveaway, please leave a comment with your name and the name of your favorite recipe. Comments will be accepted through Monday, March 28 at midnight EST.

Thanks for stopping by...hope you continue to enjoy the recipes shared here!

One of my favorite recipes is Lemon squares. I make them from a cookbook compiled from the Montessori school that I went to.

kimber, so fun that you're doing a giveaway!! i have to say that one of my favorite recipes is for an apple struesel pie out of one of my southern living cookbooks. best apple pie ever!! but now that i see you have a similar recipe with a twist (the sour cream filling), I am definitely going to have to try that as well! and once we get our kitchen finished, i'm looking forward to trying out some of your scone recipes...i have never tried making them before but have always wanted to. thanks for sharing all of your delicious recipes!! Everyone I've tried has been a success...especially with my boys! :)

Kimber, you're back! Yay!!! So, I think something must be wrong with my computer b/c I check to see if you've posted something at least every other day, and I'm almost positive I looked on monday and didn't see anything since valentine's day. Today I got to catch up on a whole lot of blogs you've apparently written. Hmmm. Well, I hope my computer decides to behave now.
I have really wanted to try your peppermint clouds, but haven't seen peppermint ice cream in the stores lately. (and I've been looking b/c being pregnant makes you remember delicious sounding foods.) Once we start making homemade ice cream this summer, that will be one of the first recipes I try out.
If I had to pick a recipe I've tried already that is my favorite, I'd say Pioneer Woman's chicken parmigiana. It's de-li-cious!

I love your grasshopper torte. Which was the first thing I thought of. But as I scrolled to it to make sure that's what it's "officially" called and there it was -- Gouda Croissant, which is pretty much amazing-ness.

And Sarah, there's nothing wrong with your computer. I did the same thing. I'm pretty sure Kimber just back-dated her posts...

My favorite recipe is called Chinese Cole Slaw and it reminds me of summer bbq's. So...it's almost time to make it again!

So fun!! (I have come to your site specifically the past years to find dessert recipes!! thank you!)

Though it wasn't always the case, one of my favorites now is just a good simple oatmeal chocolate chip cookie. I usually eat about 6 cookies worth of dough and then one right out of the oven. Kristian eats the rest! :)

Love all your recipes - thanks for always sharing. I love to make an easy salad for pot lucks at the office - I call it Asian Brocolli Slaw. (paula dean has a good dressing, but sometimes I change it up a bit)

I love that you have links to recipes. Lots of good stuff. One of my favorite recipes to make right now is asparagus, mushroom and blue cheese pizza. Super easy. Make or buy fave pizza dough, top with olive oil and a little fresh mozzarella, saute mushroom and asparagus with olive oil and garlic and add to pizza, top with a sprinkling of blue cheese and bake. SO good.
