While Spring Break is officially next week for our part of the state, we decided to break from homeschool this week...especially since Uncle Alex & Aunt Katy and Uncle Michael were visiting! It was the first time any of us had seen Michael since he returned from his trip to Ecuador...after missing him for over a year, it was great to get to hug on him!
(Little Miss Madeleine is a ham for the camera unless we want a posed group picture...sigh! This was the best we got.)
We spent lots of time outside...and even had our first picnic of the season!
Nathanael was beside himself...two other males all day long all week...we have a no-wrestling-sisters policy...so Nathanael usually is dying to wrestle Brent by the time he gets home from work. I think N's uncles got quite a workout!
More outside time...we mainly hung out at home...though we did make a record number of trips to our local gelato shop! Mmmmm.
It was really special to have "adult time" with my little brother and sister...though we were really missing Matt being here with us. We stayed up way too late each night talking...and it was worth it...they are memories I will keep for a very long time.
